Every Prophets Death

Its amazing what happens when we actually die to ourselves and God takes over!
Seemed to be the message last night at Church On the North Coast Wickliffe, Ohio at the Lions in the War Room Meeting.

What a night as I was able to share some of my heart, my testimony and some of my Artwork, Paintings and Prints as well! As ministers often when going into a meeting we tend to have our own idea of what is going to happen or what God is going to do. However, what I have learned about prophetic ministry is that it tends to pull apart our picture, our plans, and even ourselves as God contends for our will and pulls us apart before the people. I believe he does this because he wants people to see him, yet also he wants people to see us.
He wants people to see him because its him that is going to do the work, its his Holy Spirit that is going to make a real mark. When we have church and we reach each-other on one level, there is a God level that makes church Kingdom. A lot of ministry never extends beyond church to Kingdom. God originaly instituted the church to ultimately escort us into the Kingdom. And still he wants people to see us too, because its us who they connect with. We make the Word become life, we make Gods will tangible, we become the bridge to get people to where God wants to take them, he presents us as an example, often an example of burning, examples of dieing to ones self, and an example of brokenness with a true heart after his will. Often in prophetic ministry we "become" the word that they will read.

If we are willing to yield to God enough our ministry will skip religion and escort us straight into kingdom. It seems the more God pulls apart our plans and breaks down our own will - its then that he can really move. As ministers and leaders this is what he wants from us, and as witnesses for Christ - He wants our Testimony to be not only told but revealed and seen on us, he wants our story not only read but to become tangible and an impartation...

They have conquered him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the Word of their testimony: and they did not love their lives so as to shy away from death.
Revelation 12:11

When we are not afraid of dieing to our own will, we open the door for a testimony of his will to be born that will break strongholds and release breakthrough empowering us to become over-comers.

FAITH CREATES A STORY
Last night as I was trying to paint a picture of what the call of God is like, I saw in a vision embroidered certificates over every moment in our lives that God has either spoken a word to us, given us a promise, or called us. The word from the Lord was "Heaven takes account! I am taking account of every moment that I have touched you, even the moments that are seemingly insignificant to you are substantial moments for me concerning your life." I believe that God is talking about Covenant, that he has broken the bread of his body and pored the blood of his covenant over every place hes touched in our lives. God takes his call serious even when we don't. Everything that you perceive he has moved on you to do, say, or step out in is more important than you even know. Hes waiting for you to respond, and step out in faith so that he can take action on the purpose in your life.
So, Faith will capture the moment that God presents before us most would miss and create a story out of it. In other words where one man would hear a call from God, question it and let it fade away till eventually it is forgotten, another man or woman will hear a call from God, capture it and create a story on the foundation of that moment with him as they walk out that call from God, bringing the word of faith and the promise to reality. What power we have to bring dormant things in us to life, by simply saying Yes Lord!

As I've written in previous blogs, I believe God has commissioned me to activate gifts in the city and has seemed to send me on a mission to do just that! Nothing short of that happened last night as the Lord moved powerfully to summon dead things to come back to life, and hidden things to be uncovered. What an amazing move of the Holy Spirit and the prophetic to activate gifts in the room!

As I grabbed my guitar prayed and prophesied, the words from a poem that I wrote a year ago dropped into my spirit, as an accent to everything that God said, this poem seemed to embody the primary message of the entire evening...

THE BUSHEL

God you have Given me much!

I am rich! Yet my prosperity is not on paper. I'm wealthy but only in gifting, faith, and love.

If only i were a hero, yet my sacrifices are spiritual and unseen!

My faith is abounding yet only still a seed underground not having shown any green.

Who sees this real me?
Who acknowledges my strengths?

Who is witness to my true heart? And no advocate to my flaws.

Who recognizes me & values my Gifts?

Lord if you stand behind me then uncover me.

My strength is in secret, while my weaknesses are in the open for all to see!

My Child...
The world can only see you in your humble place, and the proud will not even recognize you in honor.

But I uncover hidden Glory,
and I reveal beauty in the secret places.

And I release the gifting in the hands, and I am he who unloosens the tongue!

I unlock the power in a word,
and only I can interpret the true wisdom in a proverb.

All of mine will be seen and come to be known when Christ has risen upon them.

This is my gift to the church and it shall not remain hidden.
You will come forth and your seed will bud, and your glory will be seen in the light of day.

Your faith will cash in, and gifts will be multiplied. and my love will be known as you have known my love.

Mat.5.13-15.KJV
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Overall what another powerful evening. Thank you to Michelle Luker and The Lions of The War Room for having me & providing a place for God to move and Gifts to be activated! I look forward to meeting with you again soon.

Please feel free to comment, and subscribe for updates.

God Bless!

I SAW Four POWERFUL P's being birthed amidst this Prophetic PRESIDENTIAL Election

This week God came into my car urgently and said  "Michael, pull out your notes I need you to write an article." He then began to show me that in the midst of injustices that will be OVERTURNED, and in the midst of HIS ANSWER to all of the current events in this season -  there are four things that you will be encouraged by that are going to take place within his church in the coming days. Again amidst this Prophetic Presidential hour, there are Four P's being birthed into the church that we will see in our lives in the coming season.  The Bible says that humility comes before honor (Prov 18:12) and if it's one thing that's apparently clear... There has definitely been a great deal of humbling among the prophetic and faith camps of the body of Christ upon recent events, and reports. But just as his word states, that humility comes before honor. So shall it be in the coming days! often humility is there to remind us, that even on both sides of our disag...

Becoming Your Gift!

"When are you going to decide to be an artist, and not just someone who occasionally paints?" Is what my wife said to me one evening while annoyed at my attitude towards my vocation at the time. And even though it wasn’t a fun conversation - I understood what she meant, at some point the phrase "decide to become!" jarred me into a place where I could no longer run from myself in that area of my life. I can remember the first time I began to paint as a child sitting in front of the TV on Sunday mornings trying to render the same image Bob Ross was painting on the screen. With burnt umber and greens on a paper pallet as I attempted to create the same pine tree design he seemed to lay out so effortlessly. Even at such a young age I took an interest in art. I didn’t realize that I had a gift till later years when my doodles in class didn’t seem to compare to everyone else's, and my art teachers recognized my talent. Finding your gifting is an amazin...

The Soul Collector

Sounds like a horror movie where a serial killer is out to take souls, or the grim reaper is out to get you. It almost reminds me of the movie final destination where death made its way back around to you to finish the job that was interrupted... and death has come to take your soul! Although this blog is not about a serial killer or the grim reaper, on the contrary today its about Gods process in our lives. That means that God is the soul collector. And he has a process in effect in our lives that is imperative to our development. HES COMING FOR YOU! The bible says to walk out your souls salvation with fear and trembling, that doesnt mean that the grim reaper is after you but it does mean that we need to fear God and the seriousness of his call. The fact that we are saved and our spirits have become brand new (1 cor. 5:17) is only the beginning of our process, there is still a soul that needs renewing, sanctifying and saving. The Bible says that our spirit is the candle of ...
